Katie Stephens, Partner Experience and Engagement Manager
What was your background before coming to IFM?
I gained a BA in English with a Writing Concentration from Western Washington University and held several marketing positions in both the for-profit and non-profit realms before joining the IFM team. I have worn many hats during my years with IFM, and my role here continues to transform me. How would members of the IFM community know you?
I have the pleasure of being onsite at all of IFM’s conferences, helping to set the stage for an incredible experience with the branding and aesthetics, as well as being a resource to partners to answer questions and provide any other support I can. What would the IFM community be surprised to learn about you?
IFM changed my life. After years of undiagnosed pain and illness I began working at IFM and learned about gluten. It turns out my body hates gluten and, although many of the symptoms I suffered with for years could have led to this diagnosis sooner, “traditional” medicine encouraged surgeries and medications instead. I have experienced the efficacy of Functional Medicine and will never stop singing its praises.
