What do you do for IFM?
Management, team building, strategy, outreach, marketing, international collaboration, pilot projects, expansion and growth of the functional medicine movement.
What do you love most about your job with IFM?
I love the diversity of my responsibilities and the opportunity to deeply interact with IFM’s Board of Directors, Executive Management Team, Managers, Staff, Faculty, Partners, Academic Medicine colleagues, researchers, program planners, insurers, government agencies, employers, community health organizations, sponsors, and patients who benefit from functional medicine.
IFM partners would most likely know you because…
I attend most of IFM’s educational programs and am often meeting with or otherwise communicating with our partners. Please come introduce yourself at an upcoming program. You’re likely to find me in the back of the meeting room sitting at the faculty/staff table.
What are your personal interests outside of work?
The natural world… birds and bees, hiking and biking, gardening, growing food, and cooking; tennis and exercise; volunteering, travel, and reading; friends, family, and furry pals; and the daily exploration and challenges of Being.
What would IFM partners be surprised to learn about you?
Although a closely guarded secret in the IFM community, I currently hold a five-year undefeated tennis match record against our Board Chairman, Dr. Mark Hyman. Keep at it, Mark!
