What was your background before coming to IFM?
After graduating from Oregon State University with my degree in Human Development & Family Sciences, I began my career working directly with homeless families, connecting them to vital health and nutrition resources, while working with their children to cultivate cognitive and emotional skills. My roles shifted over time and I fell in love with project management. My new skills landed me in corporate conference management. While I enjoyed my work, I knew something was missing. When I read IFM’s mission and learned about the Functional Medicine movement, I knew I had to be a part of it. I now get to combine my excitement for event management with my passion for healthy human development, and couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of the IFM family.

How would the IFM community know you?
You will more than likely meet me onsite at a conference. I’m looking forward to making sure the logistics of the onsite conferences flow as smoothly as possible to make sure you are able to get the most from your time with us.

What would the IFM community be surprised to learn about you?
I’ve been singing since I could talk and I recorded my first song, (“Still” by Reba McIntire) when I was 7 years old. I have a ridiculously good memory, which became apparent when I memorized and recited the entire five-minute introduction of the Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast, when I was 2 years old. I still remember most of it!
