The Impact
IFM is the global leader in functional medicine education and research. IFM has educated over 100,000 clinicians from 69 countries in the practice of functional medicine. Faculty from over 60 academic medicine, nutrition, and residency programs have participated in IFM programs. IFM has collaborated with the Tallahassee Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program, funded by a $1.2 million grant from the Agency for Health Care Administration. This pilot project will establish a Medical Symptom Reduction Clinic utilizing the functional medicine model and a chronic-care team approach for patient care.
