Confronting Cancer as a Chronic Disease: Primary Care Takes a 360-degree View
CME Information

Daily Evaluations:

This is the first time that IFM has conducted all-online daily evaluations. As an incentive for attendees to adapt to this change, for each of the four days of the symposium, we will randomly select three people who filled out that day’s online evaluation to receive a free copy of the complete MP3 audio recordings of this year’s symposium sessions (for a total of 12 winners).

As always, your feedback about the program is greatly appreciated and will be used to help us improve next year’s program. We will pick the winners the week following Symposium and you will be notified via email. Please click on the links below.

Continuing Education Credit Designations

IFM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education to physicians.

For MDs and DOs: The Institute for Functional Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 24 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AAFP: This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 23.50 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed credit, not as Category 1.

DCs: The National University of Health Sciences provides continuing education credit for chiropractic physicians. Applications have been submitted to all states. The following states have approved this course thus far: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OR, RI, SC, TN, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV.

Just as a reminder only 50% of the continuing education hours must be from an educational program/organization accredited by American Nurses Credentialing Center.

For PAs: AAPA accepts Category 1 credit for the PRA organizations accredited by ACCME. Contact your individual state licensing board for approved hours for your state.

RDs: This program has been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for 24 CPEUs.
