What do you do for IFM?
Oversee the development of the best education available in functional medicine and work with our IFM Board of Directors and our IFM team to develop alliances and outreach programs ensuring that functional medicine is integrated into the broader landscape of medicine, both in practice and in education.

What do you love most about your job with IFM?
I enjoy the diversity and complexity of both executing on our mission and communicating with the delightful, committed, and bright people in this movement to change 21st century medicine’s focus to better serve.

IFM partners would most likely know you because...
I have attended most of the programs provided by IFM for the last two decades and have had the pleasure of chatting with many, many of our partners.

What are your personal interests outside of work?
I am an avid reader and tennis player, and my family lives on the very edge of the bio-diverse Siskiyou forest in Southern Oregon and hikes among these tall trees.

What would IFM partners be surprised to learn about you?
Although a closely guarded secret in the IFM community, I currently hold an undefeated tennis match record against our Executive Director, Laurie Hofmann, but I continue to wonder at my defeat at the hands of our Board Chairman, Dr. Mark Hyman at the La Costa Tennis Center two symposia ago. There is a serious tennis thing occurring under the surface at IFM!
